About

Measuring first, shelves second.

gfourr runs two shelves and a ruler: the cabin figures the airlines publish, the bags that fit inside them, and a list that ends at Amazon’s checkout. What a carrier prints, we copy down and date; what does not fit, we leave out.

01The short version

Two shelves — 25 cabin bags on one side, 22 travel essentials on the other — plus one ruler: the cabin figures eighteen airlines publish. This is not an airline, not a travel agency and not a checkout. No account opens here, no mailing list exists, and no page asks for a card number.

02What happens to your list

  • Adding stays local. One tap files a product into a list kept inside your own browser. It never travels to a server of ours.
  • The hand-off is one button. Amazon.ca opens with those same products sitting in its cart at the quantities you set.
  • The order belongs to Amazon. Price, delivery, payment and returns are Amazon’s side of the line, under Amazon’s terms.

03How items earn their place

Buyers vote first — the Amazon star rating, with the volume of reviews behind it. Then the practical question applies: does the thing actually do its job? For a bag, that means the printed measurements on its label surviving a real sizer, which is exactly what a glossy photograph cannot show. Misstated sizes and one-star tails end the conversation early.

04Where the airline figures come from

Each frame comes off the rules the carrier publishes, dated by the month it was read. Airlines move their limits, usually hand in hand with a fare change, so every figure gets re-read on a cycle. Where an allowance depends on the ticket type, the airline’s own page says so, and so do we.

05The honest edge of the promise

No page here can see your booking, and your fare always gets the last word. A bag that passes the table in this shop can still meet a stricter rule at the gate. Treat the figures as a well-kept, dated guide — the paperwork attached to your ticket outranks every number on this site.

06Money and independence

Amazon commissions are the only funding this place has. Browsing costs nothing, a checkout total never grows because of us, and no commission rate has ever reordered a shelf.

Airlines have no part in editing anything here. Their names and codes appear only to label the allowance being quoted.
